Wednesday Community Harvest Suppers at Brook Farm Project

August 28, 2013

Wed flyer big

Brook Farm Project invites volunteers to help with harvest and other tasks on Wednesdays, followed by a supper together using some of the fresh produce.  The produce harvested will also go to students and local residents via a weekly SUNY market, farmstand, CSA shares, and a weekly donation to a local food pantry.  For those that can help with harvest for two hours beginning by 5 PM, please join us afterwards to prepare and share a meal together using some of the freshly harvested produce.  For those that can help with fieldwork for an additional three to four hours beginning by 1:30 PM, please accept a thank-you portion of fresh produce via coupons to be used at our farmstand at The Bakery in the village of New Paltz (North Front Street, one block off Main), open daily except Sundays from 9-5.

Brook Farm Project is located 2.5 miles West of the Village of New Paltz, follow signs from Rte 299 and Butterville Road.  Rides to the farm may be available from the village of New Paltz at 1:00 and 4:45 PM.

For more information, please contact farm manager Creek Iversen at farmercreek.brookfarm@gmail.com, or leave a message at 255-1052.
